Object detection with the EyeVision software

The image processing software EyeVision from EVT offers various image processing solutions in order to master the most diverse applications – the software measures, reads, compares, counts and above all: detects many different objects, regardless of position and orientation.

EyeVision finds the component safely and precisely on the assembly line or in the box

For a complete image processing systhem you need an adequate sensor, for example a smart camera from the EyeCheck or EyeSpector series, in which the powerful EyeVision software commands for object recognition are already integrated. Due to their high processing power, the sensors can handle almost any image processing task.

Where classic switching sensors are completely out of reach for the detection task, the object detection sensors from EVT steal the show because they even detect objects with complex shapes and details that occasionally appear in unexpected positions.

Because of the commands for high-precision position and orientation recognition, such as the EyeVision commands SmartMatch and KeyMatch, the sensors immediately recognize defective parts and parts in the wrong position, angular alignment or sequence (or a combination of all of these). With these commands, the sensors can handle almost all current image processing tasks and position tracking enables reliable object recognition, even if they are not exactly and repeatedly in the taught-in position. Even the most complex inspection systems, e.g. for rotated part sorting and stamped part inspection can be solved.

The EyeVision software and the object recognition sensor allow you to:
